Skills to lead change in communities
Ignite is a two-day crash course introducing young people who are angry about injustice and hungry for change into the movement for justice. Together, we build the foundational leadership skills young people need to make change in their communities.
We learn about the causes of inequality, what motivates us to drive change, and how we can build our power to build the world as it should be.
We explore with each young person how they can become a leader for change by joining The Advocacy Academy’s Membership and taking action for lasting change.
Join the movement
We know that young people are already leading change in their schools, workplaces and communities, even when they are not always given the space, support or tools to do it fully.
At The Advocacy Academy, our programmes exist to shift that.
We bring together young people and community members who are ready to grow their leadership, build their political identity, and take action on the issues that impact their lives. You do not need to have experience, just curiosity, care, and a willingness to get involved.
Across our programmes, you will build organising and leadership skills, connect with others, and be supported to exercise your voice, rooted in joy, hope, and lived experience, and turn that into action and change at every level.
