WHAT MAKES ME HOPEFUL?

Creating and being a part of spaces where young people can just be. Naming and shifting power. Random acts of kindness. Finding the cracks in capitalism’s armour! LOVE.

WHAT MAKES YOU ANGRY?

Institutions built on colonialism, slavery and generally the oppression of disabled people, black and brown people, muslim people, Jewish people, the working class, LGBTQI+ communities, women, GRT communities and non-Western immigrants and refugees.

Bio

I’m an alumni of The Advocacy Academy, having done the programme in 2016. TAA’s network has enabled me to write two political TV shows for young audiences and co-create a documentary called ‘Excluded’ with EachOther, inspired by the TAA hosted campaign - Education Not Exclusion. I was a Young Consultant for grant-maker Esmée Fairbairn for 3 years, President of University of Nottingham’s Feminist Society and I’ve facilitated for organisations such as Friends of the Earth and NEON. In my spare time I’m an avid reader, cinema (Letterboxd) lover, and pole practise-r. I love trying new food, planning my next trip and using my weekends to walk around London.
